For your health: Write comments!

Deuce: Sitz! No one can comment on Cinematic Attic unless they have a WordPress account!
Sitz: You’re crapping with me, right?!
Deuce: No, man, seriously.
Sitz: We gotta do something…now!
Deuce: No, YOU gotta do something, ’cause I’m too lazy, ok? [click]
Sitz: Wait! Deuce! …Deuce?

This was an actual transcription of a conversation between these two gentlemen on a cold, stormy night last week. Well, Sitz fixed Cinematic Attic so that anyone can comment! You just type in your comment, your name, and your email. Don’t worry, you won’t receive any extra emails and your email address isn’t posted. So, get commenting! Make some dialogue! Even if it’s on a really old post, we’ll read it and probably comment back! It’ll be fun, ok?! You owe it to yourself and to us that if you read our posts you should comment. We can’t read your mind, ok? For your health!

  1. What Deuce says is completely true. Well, except for the “crapping with me” part. That doesn’t sound like something I’d say, unless I was talking to my students and trying to set a good –or at least “less bad”– example. But he’s definitely right about the comments. I didn’t realize that the commenting process was weird and cumbersome if you didn’t have a CA account before. Like he says, that should be fixed now, and it’s much easier to comment. You can even sign in with Facebook or Twitter accounts if you feel like being fancy.

Also, please tell me any other feedback any of you might have about the site. I just am administering it because I have a mind-boggling amount of free time, at least compared to the rest of the group. But I don’t have much experience with sites or WordPress, so it’s still a learning experience for me. Any comments are appreciated.

    Thanks!

  2. We do need more comments on here. As Dusty said the other day, it seems the only people who comment are Deuce, Sitzman aka Ryan and me (and I only recently started commenting again after a long and tortuous absence). Please comment if you read stuff! Even if its “I like turtles” or “Last night I farted so loud my cat got angry and began chewing on my groin”. Thank you cine-friends, that is all.

  3. I will continue to comment for my health’s sake.
I was wondering if anyone else has pictures disappearing from their old posts?
That’s really all I got going for my reviews and now they’ve disappeared randomly.

    • Are you referring to the post with the three reviews? Cause I noticed that, too. Did you see it happen on any others?

If so, are you uploading them like on the tutorial post, or using a different method?

      • Yeah, that post and the Lincoln post. Haven’t checked all of them but that’s about half. Funny the photos didn’t all disappear at the same time.
And, no, I didn’t follow your tutorial to the t. I would just paste them into the text but I did follow the rules on at least one post.
