LCD Soundsystem played their final show to a sold-out audience at Madison Square Garden on April 2nd, 2011. The decision to end the band was made by LCD frontman James Murphy. He explained that he wanted time to live his life rather than spend his days touring on the road. Besides cinematicattic.com, of course, flickchart.com is my favorite website. It combines two of some of my favorite things: movies and statistics. I use flickchart often to help me choose movies I should watch, and it's highest recommended movie for me up until Tuesday was The Night of the Hunter. I've been wanting to watch it for some time now since I kept seeing it on many top movie lists, including The Internet Movie Database's Top 250. Sometimes I like to have some outside force choose my movie. If you go to instantwatcher.com, you can have a random Netflix streaming movie chosen for you. I almost chose another one, not sure if I would be in the mood for a romantic comedy, but I liked that it took place in the 50s and Albert Einstein was played by Walter Matthau.
