So, we watched this movie last night. Very good, and an incredible story. I can’t believe that it actually happened!

No tears, though, but yeah, it was definitely emotional. I guess I just save my tears for grief, not for happiness, and most of the moments in the movie were “gee, ain’t humanity grand?” moments.

And Mike, you didn’t give anything away, don’t worry. I was still surprised!

Hahaha, just kidding. But I’d probably have a tear roll down my cheek if someone did hit me in the nards during almost any movie.

But the more I think about it, I really can’t think of a time I’ve cried during a movie, but I may have just repressed such memories. Weird!

You know, now that I actually think about it more, I don’t think I have! I think I get caught up with a bit of emotion like everyone, but I don’t think it’s ever swelled over into actual crying.

Except the time I got punched in the nards while watching “Pee Wee’s Big Adventure,” but that doesn’t really count.

Just kidding. I think if I ever get close to crying during a movie, I probably move more towards the other end and get annoyed, convinced that the movie is just toying with the viewers’ emotions. But that doesn’t really diminish a powerful performance, I guess.

Mike! I’ve noticed that quite a bit with me, too. My emotions will be there, I’ll get really close to tears, but then I’ll get over it before they come down. I have a feeling, though, this one would probably make me weep…
