I’ve seen all of the Millenium movies as well but found the Swedish ones a bit routine. They didn’t have a cool style to them. Noomi Rapace was fantastic in them though. I love Fincher’s version, but I love all of his flicks.

I haven’t seen any of the movies or read the books, which is sad cause mom lent me the entire original trilogy a while back and never watched them. I wanted to read the book, which you gave me one christmas first, but… I guess I’m just a little bit behind.

I’ve seen the Millenium series as well as David Fincher’s Dragon Tattoo. I enjoyed all of it! I have not read the books, but Sam has.

This movie isn’t available on Netflix or Amazon streaming. Did you watch it on dvd?

Wow, that’s bizarre! I didn’t really look that much into his career before writing this post, but now I wish I had.

Did you see the Millennium series? That may be something we can talk more about on the site, ie, remakes of foreign films. I’m sure we’d be able to muster up some opinions, haha…

Weird. Michael Nykvist’s career just looks like one run on series:
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo
The Girl Who Played with Fire
The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet’s Nest
The Woman That Dreamed About A Man
The Man From Beijing
The Girl From Nagasaki
It’s like a series that ran out of steam and slowly drifted into obscurity, but I don’t think there’s any connection at all (besides the Millennium series, of course).
