Notice the punctuation in this title: We think this is around the 100th post, but it gets a bit hairy since WordPress seems to count drafts, and to be honest, the reasons behind our confusion aren’t really interesting. But hey, around 100 posts on Cinematic Attic! That’s pretty cool, we think. It’s also about 96 more posts than most of us imagined we’d be able to get out there, so we’re pretty happy.

Deuce asked me to write a short post to mark the occasion, but I’ll do him one better: I’ll mark the occasion and announce a prize competition! For the 100th person who comments on this post, as well as for the 100th person who “likes” our page on Facebook, I’ll give you a prize: 100 Costa Rican Colones! I’d offer 100 dollars, but that’s not the currency here, and dollars aren’t as “exotic.”

So let the comments and “likes” flow, friends!

I think Deuce also had a few ideas related to 100, like we may review our 100th movie on Flickchart, or talk about IMDB’s 100th move… something along those lines. So if you have something related to 100 that you would like to contribute, hop on in! If we work this well enough, we’ll be able to ride the 100 wave all the way to 200!
